Who brews the best beer on Funen?
Two Funen breweries come aboard Odense Aafart and meet in a cheerful but decisive battle for the guests’ favour. During the boat trip the breweries compete against each other in three different beer styles, and it is you and the other guests who decide who takes the victory.
You taste six beers in all. In each round the breweries present their take on the same beer style, so you can taste them against each other. Which beer has the best flavour, balance and character? You cast your vote after each duel, and when all the votes are counted we crown the evening’s winner of Beer Battle on the River.
You do not need to know a lot about beer to take part. You only need to want to taste, compare and give your honest opinion. Along the way the breweries talk about the beers, the ideas behind them and the craft of brewing.
